What Markdown features are supported?

The tool uses GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) via the marked library. Supported features include headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code and fenced code blocks, ordered and unordered lists, task lists (- [ ] / - [x]), tables, blockquotes, horizontal rules, links, and images. GFM line breaks (single newline →
) are also enabled.

Is the rendered HTML safe to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The rendered HTML is passed through DOMPurify before being inserted into the page, which strips any potentially malicious tags or attributes (such as <script>, onerror handlers, etc.). The HTML you copy from the 'Show rendered HTML' panel is also the sanitized version.

How do I use the rendered HTML in my project?

Accepted Answer

Expand the 'Show rendered HTML' panel at the bottom and click Copy to copy the sanitized HTML. You can paste it directly into a CMS, email template, React dangerouslySetInnerHTML, or any HTML file. The output is a fragment (no or wrapper) — just the content tags.

Is my Markdown sent to a server?

Accepted Answer

No. All rendering happens entirely in your browser using the marked JavaScript library. Nothing you write is ever transmitted, stored, or logged.
